Extra Life — Children’s Miracle Networks’ innovative P2P campaign for the gaming community — has been one of the nonprofit world’s fastest-growing fundraising programs. Since 2013, the campaign’s revenues have increased nearly 10-fold, reaching almost $11 million in 2017. Often, fast-growing programs like Extra Life are supported by swelling budgets and expanded staff. But Extra Life has managed to scale in size while reducing its resources.
