Inspired by Chicago’s legacy of architectural innovation, the P2PForum27 theme, Architects of What’s Next, celebrates the leaders designing the next chapter of peer-to-peer fundraising.
Together, we’ll explore what to preserve, what to renovate, and what to build next.
We’re looking for nonprofit presenters with ideas and experiences that will help our community to do just that. Whether you’re sharing a bold innovation, a proven strategy, a lesson learned, or a fresh perspective, your story can spark new thinking and help move our profession forward.

Go Beyond the Case Study
P2PForum27 isn’t about presenting a perfectly polished success story. It’s about helping peers learn from the real work behind it.
We want to hear about the choices you made, the assumptions you challenged, the risks you took, the teams you collaborated with, and the obstacles you encountered. What worked? What didn’t? What surprised you? What are you still figuring out? Bring us the lessons your peers can’t find in a playbook.
Our most valuable sessions create room for honest conversation, thoughtful questions, and different points of view. They give attendees a chance to compare experiences, challenge assumptions, and work through complex questions together. That’s why every P2PForum27 session will include time for peer discussion and shared learning.
What Makes a Strong Proposal?
We’re especially interested in sessions that:
- Focus on the process and decisions, not just the results
- Share challenges, missteps, and lessons learned along the way
- Offer 2–3 practical takeaways attendees can bring back to their organizations
- Give peers something meaningful to discuss, question, or wrestle with together
- Include useful resources such as templates, worksheets, tools, or sample materials when possible
Session Formats
Focused presentations paired with small-group discussion and shared learning
Three presentations exploring an industry sector, with time for discussion, connection, and peer exchange
Interactive sessions designed to give participants more time to dig in, exchange ideas, and apply what they’re learning
Additional guidance on format and timing will be provided to selected presenters.
