When Pelotonia’s board began the search for a new leader, members kept bringing up Doug Ulman, president and CEO of Livestrong, as an example of someone who possessed all of the qualities on their wish list.
“And then we had an epiphany and said, ‘We should go after Doug,’” said Daniel Rosenthal, chairman of the Pelotonia board and president of Milestone Aviation.
They not only pursued Ulman, but also landed him as the next president and CEO of Pelotonia, the organization that sponsors an annual bike ride in central Ohio that attracts thousands of participants and raises money for cancer research.
