Original Broadcast Date:  Tuesday, July 15, 2014

MADD

As your spring events come to an end and you start to dive into your data, join Guy Fischer, Chief Development Officer at Mother’s Against Drunk Driving, and Jeff Shuck from Plenty for a rundown on the most important numbers to look at, what those numbers may be telling you about your program dynamics, and how to use those numbers to make strategic and tactical decisions as you head into the fall event season.

Speakers:

Guy Fischer, Chief Development Officer, Mother’s Against Drunk Driving, is a proven fundraising executive with demonstrated accomplishments in nationwide fundraising strategy development and execution leading to exceptional revenue growth, with expertise across all fundraising disciplines. Previously, Fisher served as Chief Development Officer for the nation’s largest nonprofit health organization, the American Cancer Society where he directed the execution of the Society’s first nationwide fundraising plan, resulting in an average annual growth rate of 7%, double the national average for the top 50 US non-profits, and increasing annual revenue from $700 million to more than $1 billion.

Jeff Shuck, CEO, Plenty, has over twenty years of experience in the fundraising industry. He has consulted with hundreds of nonprofits and led teams to produce more than 200 fundraising events involving hundreds of thousands of participants who have collectively raised over a billion dollars for charity. As CEO of Plenty he uses this experience to offer expert advice in the fields of experiential and peer-to-peer fundraising. Jeff also consults extensively on the link between mission, organizational strategy, and development programs. He holds an MBA from Kellogg School of Management and is studying for a Masters in Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University.
